Engagement terms (working summary)

This is Florian's working summary of the engagement. It does not replace any signed contract — if anything here conflicts with the signed agreement, the agreement wins. Updated whenever terms shift.

Commercial terms

  • Fixed fee: €2,000/month
  • Capacity: 4 days/month
  • Variable: 10% of "results" — definition pending written agreement (see scope_and_anti_creep.md § Success metrics)
  • Implicit day rate: €500/day (low end of senior GTM advisory) — the 10% is the upside compensator. Time discipline is therefore non-negotiable: every day matters.

Time accounting

  • Logged daily in 07_ops/time_log/
  • A "day" = 8 productive hours, including async work, reading, writing, and calls
  • Reading and research count if produced output exists
  • Capacity overruns get flagged the moment they happen — not at month-end

Cadence

  • Weekly: 30-min sync with Markus + written status note in 07_ops/weekly_status/
  • Monthly: time + value report shared with Markus
  • Quarterly: review of the engagement, success metrics, scope

Communications

  • Default channel: TBD (email / Slack / other — confirm with Markus)
  • Response SLA: best effort within 1 business day; not 24/7
  • Out-of-hours: only if labelled urgent and tied to a customer-facing deadline

Termination / off-ramp

  • Either side can end with 30 days notice (assumed — confirm with contract)
  • Final value attribution captured in 07_ops/value_attribution/ for any 10% claim that has crystallised

Open questions to confirm with Markus

  • Written success metrics for the 10% (see anti-creep doc)
  • Default communication channel
  • Notice period
  • Who at 4Rooks owns sales handover when a lighthouse account converts
  • Approval authority for committing 4Rooks resources (e.g., engineering time for a pilot demo)
